Mike Bakker

Managing Director

Mike is responsible for the day to day running of the business, he holds an NZCE (Electrical) and is a Registered Electrical Inspector.
He is a former President of the Auckland Branch of the Electrical Contractors association of NZ and a previous board member of
Site Safe NZ.
With over 30 years industry experience he brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.

Paul Martin

Commercial Manager

Paul runs our Estimation and Design department and is responsible for all Tenders, budgets, consultant peer reviews and electrical design.
With over 30 years experience both in NZ and Britain his electrical estimating skills are not matched in Auckland.

Paul Hodgson

Contracts Manager/
Commercial Projects

A NZ registered electrician, Paul has been with the company for 19 years and has extensive experience managing large electrical projects.
His knowledge of earthing and lightning protection gained through helping to set up the Vodafone cell site network is extensive.

Craig Black

Contracts Manager/Interiors

A NZ registered Electrician and qualified Lighting Designer, Craig works closely with architects, consultants and clients to ensure finished projects exceed expectations. He has large scale project experience and his current focus is on design and build and Interiors Projects.

Lane Fennelly

Service Manager

Lane has worked for Allendale since its inception in 1990, a registered electrician he runs our busy service department with a focus on customer service.

Dave Smith

Electrical Draftsman

A qualified draftsman, Dave is very experienced and up to date with all elements of Cad drafting.
He produces drawings for design and as-builts. He also does an excellent job colating material for publishing in our maintenance manuals.

Zane Smith

Electrical Estimator

Zane started at Allendale as an apprentice and has worked his way through various positions of responsibility in the company. His broad commercial experience has seen him recently join the estimating team.

Andy Tang

Senior Site Manager

Our most experienced large scale project site manager, recently completed projects include Sylvia Park, Waitakere Hospital, and The Quadrant Hotel (formerly The Grand)

Phil Kirk

Site Manager

Recently completed projects include power upgrades at Vodafones' 2 main Technical centres, North Shore Policing Centre and Villa Maria

Senior Data Technician / Supervisor

Our most experienced data technician. Recently completed projects include Telecom cellsite upgrade.

Max Bakker

Construction Manager

Max oversees all construction projects Allendale are involved in and has hands on control of at least one large project at anyone time.
With over 25 years large scale project experience, Max has extensive knowledge of electrical wiring for medical facilities.

Bob Lawton

Contracts Manager/
Commercial Projects

Bob manages large and medium scale projects, City and Guilds qualified (NZCE equivalent) with heavy industrial experience gained in the dockyards of Northern England and Auckland, his unsurpassed technical knowledge of wiring controls and systems means he can tackle the most challanging and complicated of contracts with ease.

Steve Williams

Contracts Manager/
Commercial Projects

A NZ Registered Electrician with over 17 years experience, Steve has a strong management background in design and build projects including generator and UPS emergency standby systems. Recently completed projects include large scale appartment projects and commercial hospitality fitouts.

Anthony Sutton

Communications/Data Manager

Anthony has 20 years experience in the data/communications industry, Anthony oversees all the data installations that Allendale are involved in. He is a certified designer for all the major Structured Cabling Solutions companies, with vast experience in the installation of copper & fibre networks.

Russ Kern

Contract Electrical Engineer
